Happy Halloween !!!!

If you try to call me, I can't hear you so wait till Jim is here to answer the phone. My hearing is not improving. I only have a couple days left of antibiotics, so may have to get Jim to contact the doctor for me. This is nuts. And Jim is still not feeling good either from his cold and ribs. Though I think we have different "bugs" since he didn't have the ear thingy.

I don't feel good enough tonight to do the monthly accomplishments. Will add them later and direct you to the "Archives" if you wish to see them.

OK, I'm adding this in post-script. Still don't have my hearing back (Nov 2) but I have hope that it will return in the next few days!

October 30, 2007 - Tuesday

I'm taking the cold meds pretty steady every 4 hours, still feeling miserable and still can't hear. The pain is honestly a little less in my ears until the meds start to wear off, then the "insects" noise increases and the pain grows. So I'm getting real faithful at taking pain meds every 4 hours.

October 29, 2007 - Monday

Walked the floors the last two nights with my left ear hurting. I cannot hear out of it at all. So went to the doctor and he said it was infected and gave me a Rx for meds to take. Tonight, the right ear has closed up and now I can't hear at all. I shouldn't say completely deaf, but can't hear much. It's an awful feeling and hurts still. Pain isn't as bad as Saturday night, Sunday morning but still there and pressure is bad.

I've been a very blessed person. I've been fortunate to have three good mother's in my life. My own mother, Kitty, who passed away in 1965. My step-mom, Dorothy and my mother-in-law, Carman. Three of the best women I've ever known. I mention this because today is the 42nd anniversary of my mom's death. Though life goes forward and time passes by, I'll always remember.

October 27, 2007 - Sabbath

Happy Birthday JoAnna !!!!

Still sick, but meds help me function a little bit. I'm good for one project a day. Today it was getting up. Who knows what I'll be able to accomplish tomorrow! Maybe TWO projects. Like getting up AND breakfast. Nah. Not hungry. Yea! Just wish I wasn't sick AND NOT hungry!

By the way, our rainfall amount for the last 3½ - 4 days events was 3.7". We so desparately needed this rain!!!! We could still use about 4 times that much more, but we'll take what we can get at this point!

October 26, 2007 - Friday

Still sick. Feeling pretty yucky. I do love this rainy, cloudy weather. Mainly because we haven't had any rain in SO long! But regardless, I can't go outside. I'm still sick. Just a cold. Will write more when I feel better.

October 25, 2007 - Thursday

Happy Birthday Jim !!!!

I uploaded the vacations pages for New Mexico 2007, updated some background stuff on the NM 2005 page which you won't notice and changed the background to a more muted color on the Nature-Rocks page. I'll be adding to that later, when I feel better. I'm feeling really lousy right now, so that's all for tonight....

October 24, 2007 - Wednesday

Felt pretty sick all last night and feeling pretty bad today. I'm taking meds but they only help so much. And oh my, when they wear off, I feel pretty bad. I've taken some about 2 hours ago right now, but when they wear off I'll be down. I'm cold and I can't get warm. Yet I know it's just me. Rats.

I got on the computer to do all my online contests that I do each day, but the internet has been going out all evening, so I didn't get them done. Oh well, don't feel like foolin' with it anyway today....

October 23, 2007 - Tuesday

Not feeling real good today, hope I'm not coming down with the same thing Jim has had for the last 2 weeks! I fear that I may be, however. That scratchy throat, stuffy head and general achiness all over. Sounds bad.

Didn't get as much done today, since I wasn't feeling up to par. So what else can I say???

I have started a web page on our New Mexico Adventure 2007. I currently just have about 12 photos there as a teaser. There will be many more before I'm finished! I also designed a line of cactus as a divider, which took a little time, but it worked. But the internet is flaky tonight so I haven't gotten all of it uploaded yet. Soon. I promise!

I've also started working on my "homepage" to make some updates to the "index". It ought to help for locating pages that I'm adding. Also updating the Vacations and Scrapbooking pages. You will not see those changes until a later date when I upload the finished pages.

The last page I'm working on is the Rocks & Minerals page. I've changed the background and have alot of stuff to add. I'm also hoping to add photos of some of my own rock collection eventually. I'll post it here, in this journal as these changes and additions are made.

October 22, 2007 - Monday

Happy Birthday Carman !!!!

Happy Anniversary Kevin & Penny !!!!

Jim decided he needed another day to rest up from his cold, so hopefully he will be on his feet soon. I got him some good cough suppressant medicine which is helping ease the cough, which helps his ribs quite abit.

I've revised my "Accomplishments" list abit for this next month. It wasn't in an organized format, hobbies mixed in with other stuff. So if you have been reading it at the end of each month, you will notice it is more efficient now. Hobbies are listed with hobbies, crafts with crafts, reading with all reading, and so on. Well, I think it's better, but who knows? You probably won't even notice, huh.

I'm working hard with my contesting also this month. I've added alot of online sweepstakes that places offer so that will boost my contest entries up significantly. Just filling up the pipeline, helps win hopefully!!!

October 21, 2007 - Sunday

Man, I proved what an idiot I am, today! I've been doing some online contesting. And there was this one contest through a magazine that changes each day. You have to know that day's code to enter. I had the magazine, knew the codes and on the 20th there was a contest for something I really wanted. So I waited patiently until this evening so I could enter. Guess what? They already had the 21st contest up and it was still the 20th. So I emailed them, basically asking them at what time, Eastern, do they change to the next days contest. Well, I did this all today, the 21st. I thought it was the 20th. Like I said, idiot. Somewhere along the way this past week, I lost a day. Oh, well. Live and learn and forget.

Can we blame it on "jet lag"?????? Please????

October 20, 2007 - Sabbath

Jim is still coughing alot which is not feeling too good with the ribs. Me, I'm just tired and we're also talking with Jim's brother and family alot on the condition of his mom. She seems a little better but there are good days and bad. So please continue to keep her and all the family in your prayers.

It's been nice talking with all the family and it's really a shame that we don't keep in touch alot more often and not wait until there are family illnesses to get in touch. I'm as guilty as anyone else in that. We all take for granted that family will always be there. But time marches on and there are no guarantees for any of us.

October 19, 2007 - Friday

Again, another trip to town. Unusual week to have so many trips. Kind of exhausting actually. Anyway, got all my errands run and will hopefully be able to stay home now for a week or so?

I was looking at some of the photos I got developed the other day and I have a 4-5 photo sequence of us taking off in the airplane from the Albuquerque airport, as we're going down the runway, starting to lift off, getting a little higher, higher and finally going over the mountains! So I've figured out how to incorporate those photos into a two-page scrapbook layout. It's gonna be COOL. I hope.

Jimmy and Jessica stopped by this afternoon for a short visit. It was nice to have them stop by. Jimmy unloaded my car for me, which I really, REALLY appreciated!!! Jessica has been ill also and I'm glad that she is starting to feel a little better!!!

October 18, 2007 - Thursday

Another busy day. Had more errands to run. I occasionally pick up some items in town for a neighbor and did so today. Also checked a couple scrapbooking stores for Southwestern type items, like cactus, mountains etc. Found one place that cuts them for you so will try that. Still not quite what I'm looking for. One place recommended an online place called, scrap your trip, so I'm checking them out. I will probably just end up making something myself since I have pictured in my head what I want to do.

October 17, 2007 - Wednesday

Again, seems like I'm back to my old routine. May sound boring to most, but not to me. I'm working on getting some things organized here at home. Worrying about my mother-in-law and her health. Please keep her in your prayers.

October 16, 2007 - Tuesday

Had some errands in town today, so I didn't get home until late in the day. Got more photos developed and some other odds n' ends for doing a scrapbook of our "adventure"!! I can't find the exact papers that I want so I'll check some other places later this week.

October 15, 2007 - Monday

I've been trying to keep things running smooth since Jim is having to work such long hours this week. Hard to get over his cold with these hours. But he'll get there. I'm just thankful that I haven't caught it. That just proves that he got it from his ribs! Otherwise I would've caught it too at the same time! And I haven't!

October 14, 2007 - Sunday

Just busy trying to catch up with housework, laundry and such. Jim is still feeling kinda bad. The doctor had warned us in the ER that one of the things that often happens with broken ribs is a bad chest cold. Well, it is true. But hopefully he'll get feeling better each day. He had to work today up in DC as he will most of this week.

October 13, 2007 - Sabbath

Jim is pretty sick with a cold, brought on because of his broken ribs. Fortunately, I haven't caught it, so we didn't get exposed to it or whatever, at the same time. Otherwise I would be sick too. And I'm not. Thankfully!

We keep looking through the photos we took and remembering all the fun we had on our "Adventure!" What a blast we had!!!! I want to do it again!

We got a call that Jim's mom isn't doing too well. So keep her in your prayers.

October 12, 2007 - Friday

Worked on laundry catch-up and such today. I actually shipped some of my dirty laundry home so I'd have more room in my luggage for my rocks! I know, don't laugh. Yeah, they were heavy. Yeah, Jim has two broken ribs. I guess that wasn't the smartest thing I've ever done....

Anyway, laundry has arrived and is now clean. Still have other stuff around the house to catch up on so will be busy all week. Housework is always there to do no matter what. I'm just floating on my happy memories right now, so don't even mind doing the housework. My mind just wanders to all our adventures in NM and before I know it, the work is done!!!! WOW. We need to do this more often!!!!

October 11, 2007 - Thursday

Happy Birthday Jessica !!!!

Hope you had a great birthday, kiddo!!!!

Went to town to get a few more groceries and photos developed and printed. Still have a few more to go, but at least most are done. Some were taken on a digital camera, which is easy. Others were taken with the "one-time" cameras, and instead of getting the CD's, dummy me, I will have to scan those onto the computer... wasn't thinkin'. So it will be awhile before those are done. I'll work on them in spare time in the next couple of weeks.

I also stopped at a couple stores looking for SW stickers and stuff for scrapbooking. I'm going to do a scrapbook right away, so that the memories don't get away from me! I found a couple things that will work so add this to the list of "to-do's" that I have right now!

I sat down to drink a soda at 5 pm and fell to sleep. Woke up around 7 pm. Guess I'm still a little tired!

October 10, 2007 - Wednesday

What is today? Oh, yes, Wednesday. We slept until about 8:30 am, six hours and then got up. Jim has to work in DC tomorrow so he has to go into the job and get organized. After that we picked up a few groceries and lunch. After we ate, we fell back to sleep until 8 pm!!!! I think we might've slept all night but fortunately we got a phone call! Jim would've overslept for tomorrow if we hadn't!!! We sure had a great time!!! Can't believe it's all over.

I have so much to say about our trip, but I just can't put it all online. Some of it is for family only and some of it is just too long to write about. I also didn't name the restuarants that we frequented, but they were all wonderful. I will list some of them at later dates. But just know that we enjoyed every single meal we ate there!

Some names were not mentioned at their requests which I understand, but just know that we know you and had a blast with you and hope you all come to visit us if you are ever in VA!!!!!

And I'm tired, so I'll call it a night tonight. You'll hear more details over the next few days, no doubt. And in a few days I'll get some photos online on my "Vacation" pages. I'll let you know when to check it out!

October 9, 2007 - Tuesday

All good things must come to an end, someone said once upon a time.... and so our vacation, nope, we don't call them vacations, we call them "ADVENTURES", has come to a close for this time. What a trip!!! We followed our typical tradition of someone "breaking" something and ending up in an emergency room. (Remember our family reunion just last year???) So Jim took his turn, breaking a couple ribs. But we still had a BLAST!!!! No kidding! Jim said it is the best vacation he has ever had!! Me too!!!!

Thanks to Seth, JoAnna, Joey, geologist friend-unnamed, Nathan, Marcus (our rescuers) and all the "gang" for such a great, GREAT time! We learned so much about the desert and the history and local stories about the area, really adds to the adventure, making the history come alive. I still can almost see cowboys riding over the dunes and Indians hunting in the desert! Some folks think the trees and green of the East is so beautiful. I will always remember the mountains and the desert of New Mexico as the most beautiful place on earth! Thanks gang for the best vacation/adventure ever!!!!

I took pictures as we lifted off from Albuquerque. The flight to Houston was the best one yet. I really, really enjoyed that leg of the flight. As we neared Houston, the clouds began to get taller and taller. It was obvious that we were flying between thunderstorms. We landed in a little down pour of rain, but the sun was shining so I caught a photo of a rainbow. It was quite humid in Houston but we were in the terminal in AC fortunately, so we grabbed lunch/supper again at Wendy's and got to our gate for the next leg.

This flight back to the East was running late, because all the East Coast airports had delays due to weather. Thunderstorms. So our flight took on extra fuel and took off about 45 mins late. We had a beautiful flight at night, looking down at all the cities in the dark was extraordinary! About an hour from our destination, clouds covered everything, so I could no longer see the ground. The ride got a little bumpy and the pilot put the seat-belt lights on and kept apologizing for the bumpy ride. When we came in to land, we slowed way down and then he threw it on again after a buzzer sounded a couple times, perhaps a "stall" warning. That was a little unnerving, but noone else seemed concerned at all, just me....

But we landed safely in a muggy 80° around midnight. Got our luggage, hopped a bus to the parking lot, loaded our car and headed back to our little VA home, arriving around 2:30 am. (You should have realized by now that I'm writing all this trip part of the journal, post trip!)

October 8, 2007 - Monday

Again, we had made plans to go to Roswell, but felt it was just too much for us, so we took a morning of local events in. We were having a bit of trouble with the replacement vehicle, but figured out what was wrong and fixed it. Got photos developed at Wal-Mart and ran out to the rock shop near the Trinity site for some souvenirs. Then we went back to the rock museum and bought a few more souvenirs!

Oh, yeah, another encounter with a rattlesnake. I could hear him, not close. But he would rattle when I moved my feet. When I would stop and stand still, he would stop rattling after a few seconds. As soon as I would move, he would start to rattle. But like I said, not close. Are you kidding? I would've been flying without the jet!!!!!

Seth and gang had school and work, so we met for supper at one of their favorite places! We had such a good time. It was over all too soon. I can't even explain how beautiful it is in New Mexico! The sky, the mountains, the desert, all so gorgeous!!!! Photos just don't do it justice!

October 7, 2007 - Sunday

We had planned on getting up at 3 am to go to the ascension of the balloons, but I'm not an early riser and with Jim in pain from his ribs, we decided to take an easier day. We slept in and met the kids for a late breakfast. Then we headed to Albuquerque to meet JoAnna's parents for supper and to see the "Glow" which is right after dusk. They have all the hot air balloons blown up as if they were going to go airborne, but then they just all fire their little heaters and it makes the balloon glow. It's really fabulous to see!!! Fireworks follow the glow and we had a wonderful time!!!!

Supper was at Red Lobster and I want to tell you that I had the BEST salmon that I've ever had! It was lightly grilled with a sweet and sour sauce over it! I kid you not, the best I've ever had! We had a great time getting to know each other and then we all went to the Glow together. Very, very enjoyable evening!!!!!

October 6, 2007 - Sabbath

No replacement vehicle, but it was early yet, so Jim called them again. They had no record of our call the night before. So he went through the details and they promised a vehicle in 45 min. Jim said they would have to travel at about 125 mph to get it to us that fast. But regardless, in a couple hours, in plenty of time, we had a replacement and we were off. (Don't know why they couldn't just come change the tire and bring a new spare??)

We picked up Seth, JoAnna and Joey and went to the Trinity Site. It is only open twice a year. That is the place that they tested the first atomic bomb. It's cool to visit. They have the site marked with a statue which we took photos of and will post later on. We walked around looking at stuff and then left. It was a long walk but we managed it with no problem. Great exercise. It was fine as long as I walked slow and there were many others who were even slower than me, so I didn't feel bad at all.

Next we drove through Truth or Consequences (yes, that's a town) and on down to Elephant Butte where they have a large dam on the Rio Grande. The lake there has an island in the middle of it. On one end of the island, if you study the rock formation, it looks like an elephant's head. Hence, Elephant Butte. Get it? Anyway, the lake is absolutely beautiful. It was so peaceful and a nice breeze. We ate lunch/dinner there. We actually had planned to go on down to White Sands Desert but it was still another 3 hour drive and Jim's side was hurting him more today.

When we got back to the motel, Jim said he needed to go to the ER. He hasn't been to the ER for himself in 50 years! (Only for me and the boys!) So I knew he was in some pain. Course the doctor and nurses were just absolutely wonderful there and confirmed what we feared, a couple broken ribs. Told him to take it easy, first 10 days are the worst, six weeks for complete recovery if he was careful. Gave him instructions and pain meds and we were off to the motel for real.

October 5, 2007 - Friday

We met the "gang" after breakfast and had a very busy day! Target practice, and me beating everybody, ahem-ahem-ahem....

Then a wonderful lunch in San Antonio! We went back to the university and visited a rock museum. A geologist friend showed us some really neat stuff and I got all excited about rocks even more so. We left there and drove out to the VLA. That is just breathtaking!!! Such large satellite dishes, spread out as far as you can see. We also saw antelope in the fields around there!!!! I'd never seen them before. We took some photos then headed for a beautiful mountaintop to see the sunset and city lights in the far distance. This is where the adventure really took off.

We climbed this narrow road up to near the top of the mountain, about 10,500 feet. Temperatures dropped about 20° and I was actually a little apprehensive. (Never have liked heights, you know? Hence the airplane fears!). As we started down, JoAnna reminded us about not braking continuously, so as not to burn out the brakes. Joey asked us "what is that?" and we realized we had a flat. A bad flat. 10,000 feet, middle of the night, narrow road, sloped downward, only two tiny, very small flashlights, flat. Then we discovered that the rear tire was also losing air quite quickly.

I'll make a very long story short here by saying that those kids got the tire changed, got some friends to come rescue us and we made it back to the motel in a few hours. The adventure part was changing tires and the jack not big enough to get the spare on and having to dig a hole through rock, well, putting the bad tire back on and digging another hole, rolling the vehicle forward, then taking off the bad tire again, and finally getting the good one on. Then those kids took turns pumping up the rear tire, then we'd hop into the vehicle, drive for 5 minutes, stop and repump up the tire and repeat the process for about 30 miles to get back into town! WHAT a BLAST!!!!! We had SO much FUN!!! The kids were laughing and talking and teasing, it was a RIOT!!! Seth, your friends are the GREATEST!!!!

Oh, I skipped the part that could've been a real disaster! Seth was trying to get a signal on his cell phone, in the dark, remember? And stepped off the edge of the road, fortunately only dropping a few inches. There were spots up there that dropped off a thousand feet. Talk about your guardian angels watching over us!!!!

I also didn't tell you about hearing the rattlesnakes.... oh yeah. We heard them. We couldn't see them. But they were there chasing mice. We could see all the mice running across the road in the headlights.

We called the rental car place and they promised to have a replacement vehicle first thing in the morning. With that, we called it a night and got some sleep!

October 4, 2007 - Thursday

After a good night's sleep we met them for breakfast and had some traditional New Mexican food. I had the SouthWestern Omelet, which had cheese and mushrooms, topped with a hot green chile gravy! Oh WOW was that good!!! Jim had the Burrito and pinto beans on the side dish which he has had before also!

We actually sat and talked until almost noon. Seth & JoAnna had classes and work to go to, so we agreed to meet later for supper. Jim and I visited some local gift shops and some local sight-seeing which I will have photos of online at a later date. Then we decided to rest for an hour or so, trying to catch up on some of the "Jet-lag".

We met for a quick supper and Seth brought some of his "crew" also. It was nice to meet his friends! Then Seth went back to work and JoAnna, another friend, and Joey, took us to a canyon outside of town where we had a spectacular view of the sunset and clouds and saw some beautiful rocks! There's also a couple varieties of cactus there which were really beautiful also!

I've gotten inspired by seeing JoAnna's rocks and all the beauty of the desert. I've just got to get my rock collection and sand collections organized. (Shells also!).

October 3, 2007 - Wednesday

Didn't sleep last night as we had to leave around 2:30 am to catch our flight. It's roughly a 3 hour drive to the airport and you have to be there at least 2 hours early for security. Add another 30 mins for parking and catching a bus to the terminal, checking baggage and confirming the tickets. There's alot to it, I didn't realize!

It was a very foggy drive in the dark, but almost no traffic so we made good time. When we arrived at the airport, we were lucky enough to get a parking place right next to the first bus stop. We unloaded, rode the bus to the terminal and checked in. Our heavy suitcase weighed in at 35.5 lbs which is good.

You have to unload your pockets, take off your shoes and make sure any liquids that you are carrying on board the plane all fit in the one quart ziploc bag and no individual item can be over 3 oz. Jim had gone over this with me ahead of time, so we had no problem zipping through the detectors. It was surprising that so early in the morning we waited in a long line to get through, took over 20 mins.

Once through, shoes back on, watches on our wrists, pocket stuff back in place, we found our gate and picked up a sandwich ($8.50) to split for breakfast. Wasn't real good, so I only picked at my half. Jim made funny comments about last time he would buy me an expensive breakfast! Finally it was boarding time. It had just started to get light but it was still extremely foggy. As we walked down the jetway, I really had a moment of clausterphobia! If there hadn't been people walking behind me, I might not have made it onto the plane. But I did.

I expected us to taxi out to the runway and sit there for a few moments waiting our turn to take off. No, instead, we taxied out and as we made the turn onto our runway, the pilot threw it on. I was totally unprepared for that one! But Jim said he didn't really accelerate like most planes do. Wow. I think I was scared for most of the 3 hour flight to Houston. I kinda relaxed abit after about 2 hours, but I hate to admit that I was kinda apprehensive for the most part at first. I did look out the window alot and the first hour of flight saw nothing but clouds. When the clouds broke up we were in mountains and it was a little bumpy. They served us cereal with milk, OJ and a banana, which I didn't have a way to peel. But I ate and felt a little better. Our plane was not fully loaded, in fact, probably only 1/3rd full, so I even used the bathroom. Well, that's another story, but I did it!

We finally landed in Houston, one of the busiest airports in the country. And large. Fortunately for us, our connecting flight was only a couple gates away, so we had a couple hours to burn. We got a "breakfast" (which seemed like lunch) at a Wendy's in the airport. Then time went quickly and it was time to board again. Not quite as nervous, except this takeoff was quite abit more agressive than the first. It seemed like we were climbing the whole time in this flight. It was a fully loaded flight and we had a little 10 year old boy between us, who has travelled alot and was asleep almost before the wheels were up! He slept for the whole two-hour flight and awoke as we were coming into Albuquerque.

The landing at Albuquerque was definitely bumpy. We actually bounced on the runway! But Jim just laughed and I relaxed and actually enjoyed it. Of course, Albuquerque is SO beautiful!!!

We got our luggage, got the rental vehicle (more details on this later), and then headed south. We stopped at Las Lunas for Carl's Jr and I had the BEST Taco Salad in the country!!!! All the food in New Mexico is exceptional! They add green and/or red chiles to everything. When you buy a hamburger they ask you, "red or green?"!!! And yes, they are spicy but full of flavor, not like the chiles you buy in the East where they just burn your tongue.

We visited with Seth, JoAnna and Joey for about an hour at their house. They have a great place! We saw their pets and garden and RV. We wanted to stay longer and visit, but I couldn't even hardly talk. The lack of sleep and not taking my meds were catching up on me, so we called it a night, made plans for the next day and went to the motel.

October 2, 2007 - Tuesday

Really busy day, had so much to accomplish! Surprise! We are taking a trip tomorrow! My first plane trip! We're going to visit Seth and JoAnna and Joey! Looking forward to it, can't sleep as we have to leave early in the AM. Will continue journal as the vacation unfolds!

Jim was trying to get some things done for me today, to help me and he took garbage to the dump in the pickup. One last bag, instead of walking around the truck, he kinda jumped for it and come down on the side of the truck on his ribs. Said it really hurt. Looks a little discolored.

October 1, 2007 - Monday

A new month, a new beginning. Need to get some work finished around the house. All those miscellaneous projects that I started in August and September, now need to be completed. Hopefully, I'll get them accomplished.

So I have discontinued the "Today in History" segment for now. It was alot of extra work and frankly, I'm kinda busy right now. Some of the items just weren't as interesting as others also. So, what shall I replace it with? Should I continue with the same thing only in an abbreviated (shortened) version, listing only the more interesting items of history? Or should I do something else completely different? Any ideas? Anyone? Anybody there at all????

Well, if I don't get any response or complaints of some sort, I'll just come up with something on my own! So you'd better speak up if you have a request!!!!

October is going to be busy, as it most always turns out to be anyway. I'll tell you some cool things later this month! And GUESS WHAT????? I've got my sewing machine all set up again and am doing a little sewing again! It's been awhile since I did any, so I'm really excited about it. I'm working on some Colonial style aprons, caps, collars and cuffs for the Christmas parade float that our church group is responsible for. Hopefully, they will turn out ok. I pulled out some old patterns that I have of the "old-time" outfits. They were really pretty. Anyway all of this got me back into sewing again. I'm thinking of working on some quilts that I had started awhile back too. Hm-m-m. Wonder if I could turn some of this into some stuff I could sell???? Time will tell....

That's me, always trying to come up with some hairbrained scheme!
