Now that Kaine is the Governor-elect
Being a Southerner doesn't mean you believe in slavery or unequal treatment of different races or religions. But a different value of life altogether. We respect God and country. We respect life in all it's forms, even a fetus is precious. We have a slower way of life instead of the hectic racing that you see in the northern cities. It's hot and sultry in the south, so we take time to stop and smell the roses. I know there are some in the north who garden and appreciate the simple things of life. But the way of thinking is just different, hard to put in words. With the exception of two years of my life, I have always lived South of the Mason Dixon Line. Though Maryland has been occupied since before the Civil War with Yankee thinking folks, indeed, some of my ancestors fought for the North and some for the South.
Instead of calling this state the Commonwealth of Virginia, many are now referring to it as the Occupied Commonwealth of Virginia
We've been overrun by the yankees, moving out of DC into NOVA. For those of you from the blue states, DC means Washington DC and NOVA means Northern Virginia.
In her movie "The Littliest Rebel" Shirley Temple said it best, "Go Home Yankee".



Industry moved to foreign soil, South lost civil war because North had the industry.
